So I have been tagged a few times now, so I guess I will do it

I was almost 6, so I don't remember much. I guess I was going into kindergarten and taking tests to see if I could skip to 1st grade to be with all of my friends.

I was almost 16, I had just gotten home from a month trip to Japan, just figured out e-mail and was on it constantly with all my Japan friends and just starting my sophmore year.

I was attending USU with a 4 month baby (Avrilee). I was doing 12 credits online and 3 on campus. My favorite class was the one I had to go to campus for because I was so happy to get out of the house. That semester was the hardest I ever had, even harder than the one I was engaged for.

I was stuck in the house with a newborn. When I went in the hospital to have Dailynn it was warm outside. When I got home it was cold outside, I didn't like that fall much.

UM.... Nothing significant. Avi was in Preschool and making friends for her and her mom. I paid off our student loans and became debt free for the last time in my life I hope.

This Year So Far
I have started walking with a friend, Avi is in Kindergarten, and I have loved learning how to can. I worked at HR Block and loved it.

Today
Dropped Avi at school, helped at the school, and watching a friends kids so she can help in the classroom. Hopefully we will can some plum jam and make some fruit lether.

Tomorrow
Dailynn has a Dr appointment for turning 3, laundry, cleaning, and packing for a trip to La Sal on Friday.

Next Year
I will never know, if we had it our way we would be moved to Ephraim with an awesome job, building a house on the lot down there and growing a HUGE garden. To tell you the truth, we will never know what happens 3 months down the road let alone a full year. Maybe we will have a move this year though, who knows.

I tag anyone who wants to do it.

Turkey

Dailynn is so adorable when she wants to be. She started to be grumpy when we had to leave the cute little baby friend that wanted to come with us home from dropping Avi off at school, so I put her on my shoulders for a little ride. I can't do the whole trip like that. She loves to be on my shoulders so that she can grab leaves off the trees while we walk past. So she grabbed a few limbs off our friends tree and loved that she was holding so many of them. After a few minutes she wanted down, and a few min later she didn't want to carry the branches any more. Dailynn can't stand the thought of wasting a good branch so she stuck all 3 branches in my back pocket. Then she noticed that I was a turkey and laughed about it the rest of the way home. It was so fun to walk with her so happy and imaginative.

Commitment

My friend Katie said that she wanted to run with her family in the Peach Days race next year and challenged us all to join her. She did that and I jumped at the chance. If you have known me for 10 years or so, you will know that I was on the Cross Country team in High School. No I wasn't good, but I had fun. So the last 2 years I have been aching to do a 5K run for a while, so this will just be so much fun for me.

I am so proud of Katie because she has never been a runner, so it is great that she wants to. She is probably starting out the right way too because I wouldn't ease into it that way. I would just run a half mile or so then walk a bit instead of the equal amounts of time like she researched to find out. I am hoping that when the time comes that I can do it, and keep up with her and her cute family.

If anyone else would like to join in on this, lets go for it!! Running is so good! For me it is a stress reliever. Last week on one of my walks, my friend and I were crossing a busy street so we ran and then ran the length of the cemetery because it felt so good to run. Watch out, I am going to start running you off the road.

Still here

Hello everyone,

Sorry it has been a while. Avi is doing good in school, but we are already battling the I don't want to go to school bit. The first time she said this, it was followed by "they won't teach me anything". She is ready so good, and I think she is surviving socially. We will just have to see how things are going throughout the year. I got to go into the class and help out one day and she was doing good and didn't need to come hang on me, so that was good.

For me the tax season has begun. I know, doesn't it start in January? Well, no. I have classes that I am required to take in order to be rehired next year. So the classes have started so I am submerged in taxes right now, how fun. I am learning a lot.

We have just 2 more soccer games left, so then we will be free again on Saturdays. She is doing ok with it, but we will see how this saturday goes.

I have started turtoring again. It is a lot of fun and I love working with the kids that I have right now. maybe someday I will become a teacher, but who knows.

Dailynn is loving the chance to have free reign of the house for small parts of the day. She is so cute and loves reading and learning. WE are working on the terrible two's, soon be threes. She has some temper problems that we are trying to help her calm down.

I spent the day yesturday tearing appart some lilac bushes. They haven't been trimmed in 20 years, so they are being mutilated a bit right now. I don't have pictures now, but maybe some time. IT is a huge mess, but maybe next year I can have a garden a little better with it not being so shaded.
