It's been a while.

I just kind of dropped of the planet for a little while, sorry.  I was working from Jan to the middle of April, so that kinda took a little bit of time, but the real kicker is that I was also tutoring for 2-4 hours a day on top of that.  Now that work is done, and I have had a little bit of time to try to find myself again, I am going to try to catch you all up.

So Dailynn has been doing awesome in school this year.  She has learned a lot and just loves kindergarten.  They had this cute little program they did, and here is one of the cute videos.  If you want to see more, go look them up yourself. :)

Avi wrote her own autobiography.  It turned out cute, and we got to come to her class for a mini luau.

Jeslyn let me potty train her.  She was a little difficult the first week, but after that, she is done!!!  She spent this whole week telling me every time she needs to go.  We didn't have accidents for 5 days!!!!

Nathan has been working on his own project.  He tore apart the tree house that we had out there because it wasn't safe, and has started the reconstruction.  He has 1 and 2 half walls up, and it is going to be a lot of fun for them.

Dailynn was racing up and down the sidewalk on our friends bike with training wheels, and we just in a whim decided to teach her to ride.  We went to the church 2 blocks away (I know there are at least 6 within a mile of our house) and gave it a go.  She climbed on her bike, I ran across the parking lot, and back with her, and by the time I got back to the car she was doing it herself. She spent the next hour while I was trying to help her friend learn flying up and down the parking lot as fast as she could.  It was so fun to watch!  I have video and pictures, hopefully I will get that some time soon.

Nathan met up with us after work and decided he needed to show off.  He jumped on Avi's bike and took off.  Once he got going fast enough he wanted to just stand on the petals and ride, the only problem is that the bike has petal brakes.  Need I say more?  He has a few pavement bites that he has been babying for a few days now.  That video will be posted too if I can figure it out.

For Mothers day, Nathan asked if we could do a combined gift for fathers day too.  I agreed because it meant that I got a BBQ and he got some patio chairs.  Since we got it a week ago, we have had 5 BBQs.  We love having it, now we just have to figure out how to cook things on it without burning them. :)
