After getting their hair done we went back to our house to have cake and ice cream. Others friends showed up then to join us for a strawberry shortcake cake. We ended up with about 14 kids there by the end. They had a lot of fun running around and just being together.

What a FUN idea! I would never have thought of that, but I am totally going to copy you now:)SO did you just call the beauty school and ask if they do that, or did they advertise it? Be honest, how was it having that many little girls in a beauty shop? Were you about ready to pull your hair out? Were thier moms there to help? Oh, and did you make that darling cake? What talent! What a good mom you are!
I agree 100% with Katie. That's a great idea. I bet Avi loved it. When we funally have kids I think i'll be copying that idea too. :)

I was getting Avi's hair cut there one day and 4 little girls were in there getting their hair done. I asked about it and found out it would be great. Having that many kids in there was no problem they all had one or two girls doing their hair and most got done about the same time. There wasn't a single problem with them. They did love it, and thought it was so cool to be pampered.
oh yeah and I did do that cake, it looks tons better than last years cake, and it was a lot of fun. More difficult this year because I had two little girls that wanted to help the whole time. They were pretty hyper from sugar by the time I was done.
