Spring Break 2

Ok, so I left out a few great stories that happened not at DL, so here we go. We are traveling with one of my sister wives, Janina, her fiance, Zackary, and daughter Cassie. On our way from Las Vegas to CA we kinda got ahead of them. Not a big deal, but Cassie had potty issues (we will leave it at that), so they had to keep stopping. Well about a min outside of a major town (Bakersfield I think) Cassie says she needs to potty. Well, there was nothing around, so they saw a bunch of green roofs, so they figured there would be a gas station or something like that. They get there and it is a juvanile detention center on full lockdown. Janina and Cassie have to be buzzed through 3 doors, and have 2 gaurds sit outside the bathroom for them to even get through it.

We were trying to find dinner the second night of DL. We were so tired that we figured we would pick up some fast food on the way home from the park. We asked Avi what she wanted since Dai was out for the count. She said Del Taco and neither of us wanted anything to do with it. We rely on the GPS to fine one for us and get us there. We get their tacos and plug in an In-N-Out burger for us. We see that it is on the same street that we are on but start blindly following the GPS to get there. It starts taking us to the freeway to get on. We shoot that down and get on the street that we are on and tell it to recalculate route. It was about 3 blocks from where Del Taco was. After getting our burgers, we had to stop for some groceries so we could have lunch the next day. We Go to Albertson's because we know where it is. On our way back we pas a Del Taco that was closer that the other one, and is on the same street as Albertson's In-N-Out and our Hotel. If we would have only taken the time to go to the store first we could have saved ourselves a huge headache. California roads suck!!!!

So now we are outside of San Diego. We were going to go to Sea World this afternoon, but by the time we got here and situated we were all so exhausted that we just wanted to veg. We went down to the beach which is litterallly about 2 blocks from our hotel. We are EXTREMELY glad that we weren't planning on having the whole beach experience today because it was realy windy and this beach was not a play beach, it is more like the beaches you see people running on in movies and such. It had beautiful cliffs on the side and we just walked along the shore letting the water wash up to us.

Tomorrow, Sea World and the long trip to Vegas again. Wish us luck.
