So we have just spent a WONDERFUL day at Disneyland. The girls were awesome, we got into 6 rides within our first hour and a half there. We go to most of the park, and are so glad we have 2 more days there. Tomorrow is finishing up the park and hitting California Adventure.
I know, who cares about all of this, I am just setting up for this story. So we were all starving and looking for dinner. We were within a block of the McDonalds (trying to go cheap, but it is across the street so nothing is cheap) when we get stopped by this person standing outside the Quizno's. She talks us into listening to a timeshare presentation because they are going to feed us for free, give us $100 Disney Dollars, and a ride in a Limo. We are so tired and hungry that free food and sitting for an hour and a half sounds WONDERFUL to all of us. Dailynn is completely zonked out in the stroller so she just doesn't care. We get in the limo with another family making 11 people in a 8 person limo, and starty the crazy forever drive to get the three blocks we were told we were going. My friend Janina who is with us on the awesome trip is just so excited to be in the most comfortable seat in her life and doesn't even care about the fact that we are in a limo at all, the seat was just perfect.
So we get to the hotel, go to check in and what we find out is that they are booked and so we aren't getting the presentation, or dinner. It is now 8 pm and we are all fading fast. We did get the consolation that we got $150 Disney bucks. While we were waiting for our disney cash, we are just people watching because that is all you can do when you are that tired. So first these two girls come push the elevator button and start making out or something. While doing what ever they were doing the elevator beeps, and they go closer to the door they are standing by. Meanwhile, the one next to it opens, waits for them, then closes. It's another 2 min before they realize that it is taking entire too long for it to get to them. The other girl pushes the button and complains to the first that she didn't push it, while the first insists that she has. They finally make it on and are gone. Not even 2 min later this guy comes up to push the button and for some reason he just can't find it. He is just pushing the wall not even a centimeter above the button about 10 times before he looks down and finally gets it. He makes it safely away from his hystericaly laughing audience. Then again not even 2 min later this old couple come to call the elevator again. Well it was waiting for them, so the door opens immediatly. They are just standing there laudy dahing until they realize thier elevator is closing and walk right up to it as it finishes closing. Then they didn't know how to get it back since it was gone. It was another second before they figured they could call it again, and the same doors opened up. Oh we were unable to contain ourselves by this point.
We have to wait for the limo to come get us, then the driver seams to be having a hard time getting us back to where we started but we finally made it. Finally we just walk into this buffet that seams reasonably priced. After getting our fill on the slim pickins, we go for the icecream. Avi wanted chocolate as always and Dai wanted twist. I got Avi's choc and then went for Dai's twist and all that came out was Choc. So then I try the vanilla and nothing comes out so I tell Dai there is nothing I can do and we go sit down. Zachary sits down just a few seconds after us with a bowl of twist icecream. He was in line immediatly after us so I am so confused. He said he did the twist and all was good. So now I don't know how to run an icecream machine.
We stuck around for just a few more min after dinner to watch the fireworks. Once we finally make it back to the car, we start driving away. We have this wonderful GPS that is being our saving grace for the trip because CA roads are so confusing. So we know we have to get on the freeway, and see a sign that says freeway entrance. Nathan jumps on it and when it is too late we realize we are going South when we are supposed to be going North. Luckily it was a quick turn around and we made it safely back to our room where we are crashing right now.

Wow what an adventure!
Sounds pretty exciting. I agree, the roads in CA are crazy! Even with all the time we have spent in the LA area, we still get lost all the time.
Ha Ha I miss Cali, that all sounds very tiring but fun at the same time. :) The roads especially...w One time we got lost 3 blocks from disneyland. My niece kept telling my sister that it was right there and couldnt figure out why we werent going. :p All my sister could keep saying was that the california drivers were probably cussing the stupid utah drivers. :p
