Morning Hug

I went to go wake Dailynn up this last week (I hate doing this because she is grumpy if she doesn't wake up on her own). Usually I go lay by her and just tickle her or something until she is awake enough to get out of bed. I laid down by her and she rolled over wrapped her arms around my neck and said "Good morning Mom." It was so cute. Too bad that the rest of the wake up wasn't as cute.

Happy Dance

I am doing the happy dance!!! Dailynn is now sleeping in panties!!!! Yipee. It has been such a battle potty training this monster, so I am so happy that we are to this point. She just needs a few simple reminders, but she went potty on her own at a friends house today. Super happy dance. Sorry I am just so excited after the battle we have had.

Strong

Avi: "I need to work out more so that I can be stronger than Jaxson" (she doesn't work out at all, but hey it is the new year and that is what is on all our minds)
Mommy: "Why do you want to be stronger than Jaxson?"
Avi: "Because he pulls me all around their house and I can't go anywhere."
Mommy: "Well you have 2 things against you on that. First he is older than you, and he is a boy so he will be stronger than you."
Avi: "But some girls are stronger than boys."
Mommy: "Yes some girls are stronger than boys."
Avi: "Mommy is stronger than boys."
Dai: "And Daddy is too."
Avi: "But Daddy isn't a girl Dailynn."
Dai: "And he chases cats too."
Daddy: "That doesn't make me a girl."

It kept going from there, but we were laughing so hard that I can't remember where it went. It is fun to follow your own train of thought, but when you try to follow a kids thought train it is hillarious. What cute kids.

Teeth

Dailynn: "Mom I need new teeth."
Mom: "Why do you need new teeth?"
Dailynn: "So that I don't bite my tongue any more."
Mom: "Well in a few years you will get new teeth."
Dailynn: "I hope that they are monster teeth."

Turkey

Dailynn is so adorable when she wants to be. She started to be grumpy when we had to leave the cute little baby friend that wanted to come with us home from dropping Avi off at school, so I put her on my shoulders for a little ride. I can't do the whole trip like that. She loves to be on my shoulders so that she can grab leaves off the trees while we walk past. So she grabbed a few limbs off our friends tree and loved that she was holding so many of them. After a few minutes she wanted down, and a few min later she didn't want to carry the branches any more. Dailynn can't stand the thought of wasting a good branch so she stuck all 3 branches in my back pocket. Then she noticed that I was a turkey and laughed about it the rest of the way home. It was so fun to walk with her so happy and imaginative.
